From Account to Connection Verification
VPNPW Setup Guide
This workflow is intended for first-time VPNPW users. Following the order of account creation, plan selection, subscription retrieval, client import, and connection verification helps prevent missed steps and makes it easier to identify where a problem occurs.
Button names and menu locations may vary slightly between clients. For example, “Add subscription,” “Import from link,” and “New configuration” usually refer to the same type of action. Follow the interface of your current client; if its menu structure differs significantly from this guide, visit the Support page for the relevant troubleshooting direction.
Create an account
Start by opening the VPNPW account creation page. No email address is required. The page will ask you to set a username and password. Use the username to access the user panel later and the password to protect your plan, subscription, and order details. For security, use credentials that you do not reuse elsewhere and check them carefully before submitting.
After completion, the page may take you to the user panel or ask you to log in again. First confirm that the panel navigation loads normally, including links to the account overview, plans, and client downloads. Do not rush to add a configuration in another app: a new account without an active plan generally has no valid subscription content available for connection.
If you return to the login page after submitting, log in with the username and password you just set. If your browser has filled in old credentials, clear them and enter the new ones manually. This stage only gives you access to the panel; next, choose a monthly subscription or data plan based on your usage pattern.
Start FreeChoose a plan and place an order
On the plans page, first distinguish monthly subscriptions from data plans. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. Data plans include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they last until used and never expire. The billing models are different, so choose according to your actual usage pattern rather than comparing only the headline price.
If you need steady access and your monthly usage is fairly consistent, choose a monthly subscription close to your needs. If your usage is occasional and you want unused data to remain available, review the data plans. When upgrading a monthly subscription, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days, so read the order summary shown in the panel before upgrading and confirm that the data and activation details are as expected.
After choosing a plan, proceed through the panel checkout, verify the plan name, amount, and billing method, then select one of the payment methods currently offered in the panel: Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, do not submit the order again; return to the account overview and check the plan status first. VPNPW offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. See the refund policy for the application process and details.
View PlansGet the subscription from the panel
Once the plan is active, open the account overview and look for the copy, import, or subscription entry in the subscription section. The subscription link lets the client read the routes and related configuration available to your account. It is not a public download address and should not be posted in public chats, forums, or screenshots. If someone else obtains the link, your normal access may be affected.
Use the copy button provided by the panel to avoid missing characters during manual selection. For documentation, a placeholder can be written as https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN; in actual use, you must use the content generated by your account panel, not this example address. If you need to store the copied link temporarily, keep it only in a trusted local password manager.
Next, confirm which client is available for your platform in the panel’s download area, then return to the subscription section and copy the link. The client and subscription are separate: the client establishes the connection, while the subscription supplies route configuration. Installing only the client normally leaves no routes to choose from; saving only the subscription link without a compatible client cannot establish a connection.
Open the account overviewImport into a client on each platform
Menu names may differ on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, but the order is the same: get an eligible client from the user panel, find the subscription import entry, paste the link, update the list, and choose a route. The panel determines download eligibility; this page does not provide static installer URLs.
Windows
On a Windows device, log in to the user panel and open the download section to get the corresponding client provided by VPNPW. After installing and opening it, look for “Add subscription” or “Import from link” in the main interface, configuration page, or subscription manager. Paste the subscription link you copied earlier into the address field, give it a recognizable name, save it, and run an update.
After the update, the client should display a list of available routes. Choose a region that matches your destination, then enable the system proxy or connection feature as prompted. If the system asks for network permission, verify the application name and follow the system workflow. Do not rely only on the client icon to judge the result; continue with connection verification.
macOS
On macOS, use the panel’s download entry to get the client available for your account. After installation, open configuration management from the menu bar icon or the main window. Find the subscription, configuration source, or remote configuration entry, choose to add it by link, paste the subscription address copied from the panel in full, save it, and run an update manually.
If the app asks to add a network configuration, read the system prompt and allow the required permissions. Then choose a route for the target region in the client and connect. Some apps continue running in the menu bar after the main window closes, so closing the window does not end the connection. When you need to stop, choose disconnect explicitly from the client menu.
Android
On an Android device, log in to the user panel through a browser first and get the client available for your device from the download section. Open the client, go to subscription management, configuration management, or add configuration, choose the link import method, paste the subscription address, and confirm. After importing, tap update so the client can load the latest route list.
The first connection may prompt you for permission to establish a network connection. Confirm that the request comes from the client you just installed, then follow the system instructions. When choosing a route, do not treat the region name as a fixed performance guarantee. The same route may perform differently across networks and times of day; rely on actual access results.
iOS
On iOS, open the download section in the user panel and obtain a compatible client using the method provided by the panel. In the app, find the add entry under subscriptions, configurations, or remote resources, choose import from link, and paste the subscription address from the account overview. Save and refresh the configuration, then confirm that the route list appears.
When connecting for the first time, the system will usually ask permission to add a network configuration. After confirming, return to the client, choose the target route, and connect. If access stops after switching networks, disconnect and reconnect in the client before deleting anything. There is no need to delete the subscription immediately; doing so adds re-import steps and makes the source of the problem harder to identify.
Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux clients require you to log in and retrieve the subscription from the panel; the panel determines download eligibility.
Get the clientConnection verification and status checks
After the client shows that you are connected, open the IP lookup page on this site and check whether the current egress information matches the selected region. Before testing, close old pages that are still loading and open a fresh page to reduce interference from browser cache or existing connections. If the egress has not changed, first confirm that the client’s connection switch is enabled.
A changed egress only shows that the network path has switched; it does not mean every third-party service will automatically provide content or account eligibility for the same region. Next, visit the service you actually need and check whether login, page loading, and key features work normally. Third-party platforms may also consider account details, payment region, content licensing, and their own risk controls, so network connectivity and service eligibility must be assessed separately.
If a page opens but loading is unstable, try another route in the same target region and test again. If no route connects, check whether your local network can access ordinary websites, whether the subscription updated successfully, and whether the plan is still active. Troubleshooting in this order helps distinguish a local outage, client configuration issue, and route performance issue.
After verification, you can keep the current subscription configuration for later use. When the route list changes, update the subscription in the client; there is no need to create another account or reinstall the client. Automatic update behavior differs between clients, so check the settings of the app you are using.
Troubleshooting order for common issues
When you encounter a connection problem, avoid changing several settings at once. Check the local network, account plan status, subscription update time, client connection status, and target-service rules in that order. Change only one condition and test again each time so you can identify what actually affects the result. If a subscription does not appear after payment, refresh the account overview and check the order status before submitting another order.
If the client reports a subscription update failure, copy the link again from the account overview and replace the existing address, checking that no extra spaces were included before or after the pasted content. If it still fails, close and reopen the client. If only one target service is affected while other websites work normally, check that service’s account eligibility and regional rules before deleting the entire configuration.
Protocol details, the differences between direct and relayed routes, peak-hour congestion, and mobile resource usage are outside this lightweight getting-started flow. For a deeper understanding of route selection, read the Protocol and Route Technical Reference. For account, connection, speed, or refund issues, visit the Support page and browse the relevant category.
If the category guidance does not resolve the issue, log in to the user panel and submit a ticket. Include the platform you are using, the stage at which the problem occurred, the message shown by the client, and the checks you have already completed. Specific details make it easier to distinguish account status, subscription import, client permissions, and target-service rules.
