Understanding the results
The results show where the current request leaves the network and the basic connection details external services may see. Evaluate each field together with the service you are trying to access.
Your public IP is the network address presented to external services by the current connection. Run the lookup again after switching routes to verify that the exit has changed. If the same address still appears, return to the client and check your subscription, route selection, and connection status.
The location comes from VPNPW’s on-site GeoIP lookup and indicates the approximate geographic position of the exit. Database records may differ from the physical data-center location, so rely on the target service’s actual determination for content catalogs, account eligibility, or regional rules.
The ISP field identifies the network operator associated with the exit address. It can help distinguish a local network exit from the selected route, but it cannot by itself confirm connection quality, bandwidth performance, or third-party service availability.
This result comes from identification signals returned by the GeoIP API. Services may use different data sources and detection rules; this page is for connection troubleshooting only and does not guarantee how every website will classify the connection.
This page’s public IP lookup is not a DNS test. DNS requests translate domain names into reachable network addresses. If the exit has changed but DNS is still handled by the original network, regional detection may be inconsistent, access results may differ, or resolution may fail.
After connecting to the selected route, note the public IP, country or region, and ISP shown on this page. Run the lookup again whenever you switch routes to confirm that the exit details change as expected.
Check whether the operating system, browser, and client each have separate DNS settings enabled. When multiple settings apply at once, DNS requests may not follow the same connection path.
If a target website still returns content for the old region after switching routes, close and reopen the browser, clear the system DNS cache, then visit the site again and verify the public exit results.
If the exit region matches expectations but domain resolution keeps failing, or results differ noticeably across networks, try another route and submit a support ticket through the user panel with the target and reproduction steps.
This site does not log lookups. This page requests current public exit details only from VPNPW’s on-site GeoIP API and does not forward requests to third-party public lookup services if the API fails.
